I tried 3 times during the game and it didn't work at any point.

The action was asking the player for double the coins it actually required, could this be why you were not able to complete it? I rechecked with this edit in place and now it allows me to place multiple tokens. Also the stipulation says that "the value of the action must be split" (this means an action of value 3 can place a book on the first row and one on the second, not two on the second).

With all of this said, I solved the price bug and the action now works in my testing, if you encounter this bug again do let me know!

Still not working for me: if i activate before the action it gives "Unexpected error: Error while processing database request (reference: GS2 10/03 00:50:44)" if i try after the action it says i don't meet the requirements (I do have 3 coins)

I finally figured out you have to press the $2 action, activate, place TWO of the shelf pieces, and then confirm. It worked for me, but may I suggest some prompts to help?

I'm sorry I didn't specify (I was randomly fixing bugs on saturday evening), I fixed the bug but did not push an update in production yet. The fix will be live once I do.

I will look into improving the tooltip for this action as well!

Just want to jump in that it does now work, but I didn't know you needed to click two spots. A tooltip or message saying how it's done would be beneficial. I was about to report it as a bug, but just saw this here.

Currently the tooltip reads:

"You spent 3 coins in order to place a second bookshelf tile in the same action. The value of the action must be split. After selecting the first book space, if you still have the ability to place another, spaces will be highlighted to allow you do to so."

I thought it was clear enough from this, I'll specify the word "click" somewhere so it's clearer. Now it will also read:

"(just select a second space by clicking on it if highlighted)" at the end.
