The rules says:

if the previous player bid "10 4s"
you can
OR increase the value of the die without change the number of dice (example "10 5s")
OR increase the number of dice but in this case you can choice any value of the die (example "11 2s")

Instead the current implementation of the game allows only to keep or increment the value of the die when you increment the number of the dice.

In other words i should to be allowed to bid 11 2s or 11 3s or 11 4s or 11 5s or 11 6s
but the system allows me to bid only 11 4s or 11 5s or 11 6s.

The physical Perudo game rules explicitly give an example of being able to bid a higher number of dice with a lower number on the dice as a permitted higher bid.

This bugged me as well. The Rulebook that is attached to the game is also saying this:

"The first player announces a number, and then the next player has the choice of doubting it, by saying Dudo or raising the bid, either by the number of dice or by the value of the dice. (or by doing both) "

There is also another problem. If player 1 bids a two, player two should be able to bid 8 fours. The rules clearly allow this, but in the game you're only allowed to bid 8 twos or 1 four.

The game is implemented according to Asmodee rules and according to people from asmodee who playtested a game. I implemented the game so I know it.

So this is definitely not a bug. I would prefer the traditional rules which allows you to make a jump bids and to bid a lower die value bid, but it was not according to license.

A couple of years ago (and a couple of years after the implementation) I was granted to make an option for traditional rules, but I didn't get to it.

I think to revisit Perudo soon and to implement this traditional version as an option.

The perudo game rules allow bids of lower numbers with higher increments.
Example after three sixes a next player should be allowed to bid four of 2,3,4 or 5.
This is currently not possible and should be fixed!

Joezg: The Asmodee rules I have specifically mention that you can choose any die value:

Pg. 3: "Raising the Bid

When raising the bid, the player must choose one of the following options:
- Keep the same number of dice but increase the die value.
- Increase the number of dice and choose any die value.
- Bid Pacos (see "Bidding Pacos" on page 4)."

Whoever approved it from Asmodee doesn't know what they are talking about. This isn't right according to any rules I've seen. They ruined the game. Hopefully you can get the "traditional" (correct) rules implemented. Until then I won't play it here again

I have fixed this rules issue - bidding in the traditional style is available as the default game option. For players who are happier with the bidding style previously available on BGA, this can still be used by selecting 'modern' bidding when creating a table.
