However what I saw was still that it was my opponent's turn, and their time was ticking down. Perhaps if I had refreshed, I would have also seen my own time ticking down instead; but I assumed it was just an issue with the warning saying "You" no matter who was reading it.

Only when the game ended (with my expulsion) did the I suddenly see my opponent back at full time and myself in the negative.
