F5 did not solve the problem, but viewing in replay the summoning gauge did increase. Unfortunately it still would not let me play my card as my gauge was too low.

I selected dice twice that should have increased my summoning gauge and it did not. I also used the bonus ability to increase my summoning gauge and it did not increase. I was deducted the bonus points, but my gauge remained the same. I am on an Apple OS.

This player don't know the basic rules. At move #207 (Table #20099483), his summoning jauge was already at 15. Therefore, his jauge cannot further increase, although he chosed a starred die and the interface reported incorrectly this increase. So, this report doesn't concern a problem of compliance with the rules, but an inappropriate message in the log.

As with other players, this has now happened in a few games. When choosing a card with a star meaning the gauge should increase, it doesn't meaning that I can play no more cards until the end of the game and just have to click 'end turn' repeatedly when it's my turn. If this can be fixed it would be great. I love the site, love the interface, love the games.

The problem happened last turn, presumably turn #137 or possibly #136. If you check the log you'll see I chose a dice with one yellow symbol and one star meaning my gauge should have increased by one space.
I currently have six cards played on the table in six spaces so not near the maximum of 15. I have some good cards to play and energy with which to play them.
I was expecting a new space to be available but there was none. In a previous game when this happened, I received no more slots from dice with stars until the end of the game and of course lost miserably and the maximum hadn't been reached.
As mentioned though, if you check the log of this more recent game or run the replay, you'll be able to see it not work as it should.
Hope this helps, I used to develop software so know how it can get.

You asked for a screen shot so it's here on tinypic. In the top one you'll see the log which clearly says 'Gauge increased and no card played afterwards. In the second shot you can see the cards on the table after the 'Gauge increased' but the problem is that as you can see the Gauge didn't increase. Hope this helps.

Please ignore my posts. I feel like a complete fool :) My opponent played a card which took away my space. The only upside is that this may be what is causing others to see their gauge stay spaces not increase. I shall go away now and lie in a dark place. :)

I explaim wht it's happen.
My first line was full and the new space must be create in the second line. I bought a place with bonus, but nothing. I do this two time. I use a card power to create a new space and it's ok, the space was create. So after i tried to create space with bonus and it was ok this time.

Just happened in my Seasons game
Chrome v84, Mac
I had a die giving me a summoning gauge increase. The history says it was given but I don't see it in my tableau.
Next, I used a bonus (-5 crystals) to increase the summoning gauge; the bonus was given to me but I don't see a summoning gauge.
I clicked on a power card in my hand and was not able to play it.

15 is the absolute maximum number of summoning power you can have in the game. You can not exceed 15, so play your cards wisely.
Secondly, if your opponent played a card at any time to reduce your summoning gauge, you would have had to make up for lost summoning.
Example: If you have 3 summoning power and 3 cards summoned and your opponent plays Demon of Argos, you would lose one summoning power, but you don't sacrifice the cards in front of you, so you would only really have 2 card slots. So in order to summon a 4th card, you would need to increase your summoning power TWICE before another slot would open up.

I checked the rulebooks several times and it doesn't say there's a limit for summoned cards. The physical board only shows up to 15 but it also only has 7 energy slots and yet you can actually go over 7, so I don't think 15 is a hard limit.
However! If BGA interprets the rules this way then please could the game show 'Not able to increase summoning gauge above 15' as text rather than saying 'summoning gauge has increased by 1 with the die' when it is not the case. Thanks.

@Polinezia: The replay of your game shows that you have had 15 cards in play for several turns, so you have not encountered any bugs, since you cannot summon a sixteenth Power card.

@gjc82: Your argument is wrong. The number of energies that can be stored in a player’s reserve can only increase by 3 with at least one Bespelled Grimoire in play. With the base box, the extra energies were placed directly on one of the Bespelled Grimoire in play (up to 3), but with the Enchanted Kingdom extension, a special tile extends the reserve of 3 energies as soon as a Grimoire is in play.
As for the invocation gauge, there is currently no effect to increase it beyond 15, or to put into play a Power card despite an insufficient gauge.

The rules state that a hand can have unlimited #cards. It makes NO sense to have a maximum on Summoning gauge or maximum #cards in play then. Especially as rules says nothing about such maximums. I'm also a victim of this bug in game 227350081. For 2nd last act in the game, I meant to summon a card via Crystal orb, but I could not (SG too low). Already activated the orb before I noticed the SG issue. Went on to finish game w act Idol of familiar.

@Ninolia: I own the real game and players have player's boards with a track for the summoning gauge. This track have 16 spaces, from 0 to 15 : 0 and 15 are the limits for summonning gauge, limits that have been set by the author of the game.
BGA generally does not have permission to modify the rules of digitized games, except for technical reasons. Therefore, these limits will not change. You may, however, have more than 15 cards in play temporarily, for example when an opponent activates a Damned Soul of Onys.

Had this problem with the Die of Malice rerolling to revealing a Season Die face that had a star, but after accepting the second result with the star, my summoning gauge did not increase. This was why I wanted to use the Die of Malice in the first place. I'm not at summoning cap, and the history tells me my summoning gauge should have increased.

As far as I'm aware, there is no bug here, just a misunderstanding of the rules. Either you can't summon a new card because your summoning gauge was *decreased* before (for example by a Demon of Argos) or you hit the hard limit of 15.
