I personally don't think it is a good idea. Playing the game in real life also requires you to keep track of things (as most boardgames do). Making mistakes because of overlooking something is part of the boardgame experience. All information in this game is out there without having to look too hard for it. To help players who play turn-based over a long time, BGA has the facility to save notes. In my opinion that is enough.

The innocent pawns are already greyed out, I don't see the benefit to more information.

Well, sometimes I find it hard to see which characters are innocent when I need to select a pawn, because unavailable pawns are made a bit transparent.

I would like to change the way unavailable characters are shown so it would not make hard to see which is innocent.

Agree that a small icon to help differentiate would be beneficial.

In real life the pawns have a black side and a white side. You flip from black to white when proving them innocent.

I'm surprised that the physical version is more accessible than the digital one.

@Poddster: You are confused with the pawns of the game Othello. The pawns of Mr Jack are wooden painted with stickers on both sides:
a) suspect side: character in colour with a background of the colour of the pawn (so there is no circle of colour);
b) innocent side: black and white character surrounded by a circle of the color of the pawn.

The confusion between the two faces results from the inappropriate presence of a color circle of the suspect side of the characters, identical to that of the innocent side. This circle must be removed or reduced in thickness on the suspect side.
