I have also had what sounds like this issue. I'm using Mozilla Firefox for Ubuntu browser 88.0. and tried refreshing with F5 and Ctrl+ f5 several times. Also left the game and re-entered. In the end my opponent had to through me out on time, because I couldn't concede.
There basically no artwork on the tiles.

Ich hatte heute das selbe Problem, es wurden nur die Umrisse der Landschaftskarten angezeigt und die Meeple. Also ein blindes Spiel. Habe davon ein Bild gemach.
